No, it’s not a @NASA satellite image of an approaching alien ship. This is the #bronze plated, former American @FolkArtMuseum on West 53rd. Designed new and opened in 2011 to much architectural acclaim. Sadly, the museum defaulted, the @MoMA purchased it and this month is demolishing it to erect one of the tallest towers (also beautiful) in NYC. So bizarre. So sad. The treasures this city has buried.

We sat 6th row for the #Rangers vs #Islanders game in Long Island on Saturday night. NY vs NY is always a good show. The Rangers took it 1-0 in OT.

After a 6 month delay in construction (to source, design, fabricate, install steel), we are moving again! Over 50 pieces of steel columns and beams arrived Monday. About half of it was lifted temporarily into place by a 120 ft crane. It will be bolted, welded, shimmed and leveled over the next few weeks. More photos to come at www.catskillconversion.com
